At MStranslate, we pride ourselves on the quality of science communication that we provide to the international multiple sclerosis community. We believe that one of the aspects that makes us truly unique is that we establish a direct connection between people with MS and leading researchers around the world.  A simple review of our website and social media channels demonstrates these efforts, where published interviews with scientists from Australia, New Zealand, Europe and the United States have received a fantastic response.

Due to the geographic isolation that we experience in Australia, it can be difficult to gain access to those leading the field across the globe. To ensure that we are continuing to provide the most up-to-date information in MS research, we are looking to connect with international MS researchers at the American Academy of Neurology Meeting being held in Vancouver in April 2016. This conference is the largest neurology conference in the world and is expected to have a number of breakthrough presentations in multiple sclerosis research.

However, as MStranslate is an unfunded organisation, we are seeking assistance to make this plan a reality. With this in mind, we have established a crowdfunding campaign to help us cover the associated costs. Whilst we don’t believe that people with MS should fund our efforts, we are hoping that members of our community can share this page with members of their own networks that may be able to support us. We thank you all for your continued support.
