For those who are interested, here is the presentation we delivered at the Melbourne Brain Centre Symposium in November 2013. It outlines the role of social media in science communication and the key “ingredients” of a successful approach.

We’re pleased to report that this presentation was very positively received, and led to exciting “Feature Week” collaborations with multiple sclerosis researchers at the Melbourne Brain Centre in both 2014 and 2015.  The content created during these events can be located under the “Collaborations – MBC@RMH” menu heading.

The MStranslate approach to science communication has also been applied to the Melbourne Brain Centre’s own initiative, called BRAINtranslate, on which we also partner.

If you have questions on any of the slides, please don’t hesitate to ask them.
